Our History
Situated in the heart of the West Texas Permian Basin, but covering all of Texas, New Mexico and beyond, NFP STA Benefits, Ltd. specializes in delivering quality advice to Oil & Gas related companies. While not limited to Oil & Gas, we have a deeper knowledge of working with these clients and those that prosper in Oil & Gas economies than most other NFP firms.
Led by Steven P. Thompson, who founded the firm in 1972, NFP STA Benefits, Ltd. has a known reputation across the state of Texas as leading advisors of employee benefits and retirement planning. Steve and STA became an NFP Partner Firm in 2002.
Succeeding him, son Marty Thompson is following in his Father's footsteps after joining the Firm in 2003 and becoming a Partner in 2007. NFP STA Benefits, Ltd. has been serving its loyal customer base for many years, and is poised to continue that high level of leadership for many years to come.
